Our Teachers

Our teachers are chosen for their ability to combine warmth and energy with endless patience and understanding.  They work closely as a team and their wealth of experience and knowledge in the Montessori approach and Early Years Foundation Stage enables them to deliver the curriculum to every child in their care in a fun and enthusiastic manner.

All our Teachers are Montessori Qualified and our Assistants will be working towards their Montessori Diploma or EYFS qualifications.  They will all have completed the necessary enhanced DBS checks and are are all First Aid trained.

Our senior teachers have been with us for over 15 years and we pride ourselves on being able to provide this stability for our children and parents, who are always reassured to see and be welcomed each day by the familiar faces of our team!

And finally, here is a fact you may not know - the Montessori teacher is called a 'directress' or 'director' because we guide the child and present individual activities based on our observations of each child, rather than from a prepared curriculum.
