Our School

Our aim is to provide for the intellectual, emotional, social and physical needs of the child by offering a warm and caring environment to both stimulate and nurture the love of learning within every individual.  In so doing, we aim to ensure that each child is able to grow and develop to their full potential at their own pace and with a life-long desire to continue along the path of education and discovery.

We are located in the delightful semi-rural setting of Bovingdon Green Village Hall, just a short distance from Marlow town centre.

The school was founded over 20 years ago by Jan Lundie.  In 2023, we joined the Alba family, as it was time for Jan to take a well earned rest and to retire.  She chose Alba Nurseries as her successors as it ensured a continuation of the ethos and values of the school that she spent such a long time building.

We are open term time only for children aged 2-5 years.

We pride ourselves on delivering a true Montessori curriculum alongside the Early Years Foundation Stage.  The school has been recognised as an "outstanding" provider by Ofsted in all of its inspections since opening our doors in 1999.  We are currently expecting our first re-inspection after change of ownership (in line with normal Ofsted practice).
